Ichor
What is ichor?
According to Greek mythology, ichor is the blood of the gods. The gods/ goddess ate of a substance known as ambrosia, which caused their blood to become ichor. Ichor blood provided wisdom and immortality.
Fact or fiction?
From William Smith, Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology, volume III (1849):
“In Ancient Crete, tradition told of Talos, a giant man of bronze portrayed with wings. When Cretan mythology was appropriated by the Greeks, they imagined him more like the Colossus of Rhodes. He possessed a single vein running with ichor that was stoppered by a nail in his back. Talos guarded Europa on Crete and threw boulders at intruders until the Argonauts came after the acquisition of the Golden Fleece and the sorceress Medea took out the nail, releasing the ichor and killing him.”
This can be equated to the water and blood of Christ that was shed from the body of Jesus during his crucifixion.
Personally, I believe both to be referring to a substance we commonly call the sacred secretion in modern society (increased crystalline structure and Christ Consciousness DNA codes within the human vessel).
Is it ambrosia really a golden liquid?
Colour is just frequency. So when we speak of a golden fluid, we are actually talking of a liquid that holds the frequency of gold. Therefore, this may not be physically all-shining golden sparkles that the visual part of the brain codes as ‘gold’. Instead, it’s that the fluid (the cerebrospinal fluid and its chemical compounds) hold a golden frequency, akin to the solar Sun (our inner light). In this way, it seems more likely that ambrosia is referring to inner light, which births the crystalline structure of Christ Consciousness codes within DNA expression.
How can I make ichor?
Producing ichor is another name for the modern practice known as preserving the sacred secretion. For more information on this, please check our my other blogs within ‘The Sacred Secretion’ part of this website.
