Sekhem Energy Healing

Sekhem is an Egyptian word meaning “might” or “power” and is the Egyptian equivalent to the more renowned terms of prana and chi. It is the all-encompassing living light force energy that heals. This energy is delivered by the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet, the goddess of death-rebirth, protection and healing.

According to Diane Shewmaker, Sekhem balances and merges the physical and spiritual/ light/ subtle bodies, unifying all polarities, fully opening the heart chakra and bringing forth the eternal golden blue- white flame of Christ Consciousness/ I AM presence. Sekhem energy adjusts itself to the individual receiving the healing, increasing its electromagnetic “voltage” as the receiver is able to hold it, under the guidance of the recipient’s higher self. Sekhem energy is then able to flow into the “higher octane” and facilitate growth, elevation and balance. Thus, the more frequent energy healing sessions (either conducted by a healer or through spontaneous healings/ activations), the higher the body’s light quota. Shewmaker also adds that: “As the physical and subtle bodies of the human auric field begin to merge, a force field is created around the person that gradually allows the acceptance of greater and greater amounts of universal light frequencies…” - which I believe also acts as a shield (Sekhmet and Athena being protectresses) against negative energies and damaging frequencies, such as EMFs. Moreover, Shewmaker exerts: “This process in turn prepares the way for the oversoul to descend and live in the physical body. The oversoul is that already-perfected part of a person’s consciousness that exists on the plane of universal love and wisdom... assist[ing] the entire energy structure in becoming centered in and attuned to the unified heart chakra.” (From Diane Shewmaker’s book, All Love.)

During my training to become a Sekhem energy healer, I received the knowing that Sekhmet (the goddess associated with this practice) is the Egyptian title for the frequency that the Greek’s called Athena (a goddess I had been working with for years as part of my sacred secretion practice). I received a spontaneous initiation during dreamstate, whereby these goddess energies supported my sacred secretion delivery and preservation. From this, I knew that I could offer this energy healing practice as a way of enhancing another’s preservation period.
