When To Preserve The Sacred Secretion
When should I be practising the preservation of the sacred secretion?
This is the most common question I get asked. As I discussed in my book, there is much controversy about whether the Christ-oil raises during the Tropical or Sidereal zodiac system. Personally, I follow both. I begin my practice just before the Moon enters my Star sign in the Tropical but carry this through for about 5 days so that the Sidereal is also covered. I have felt the effects of this cleanse at various points throughout this time so I believe there to be some deeper phenomena involved which I have yet to untangle from the web of the ancestral consciousness.
Just to recap: The sacred secretion is a common title given to the vibrant substance that is produced in the human body every month when the Moon enters a personβs Star sign. I was born on February 5th. In the Tropical zodiac system I am an Aquarius. Therefore, whenever the Moon enters the part of the zodiac belt given to the energy of Aquarius, I practise preserving this spiritual essence. Even if one was to follow the Sidereal system, in which I would be Capricorn, the Moon would enter the sign of Capricorn at the same time. So there is no true discrepancy, really, about when you should preserve as, whether you follow the Tropical or Sidereal system, it will happen at the same time.
I begin adapting a day or two before the Tropical system and continue for a day or two after the Moon leaves my sign in the Sidereal. This amounts to about 1 week every month for cleansing.
or exact times, please check moontracks.com (Void of Course Moon Dates (moontracks.com)) and practise preserving between moon void of course dates or download the app TimePassages. To see where the star are exactly, according to the Sidereal system, I use the SkyView app. The app Deluxe Moon is good for seeing where key cosmic bodies are in both the Tropical and Sidereal systems and comparing these.
You can also purchase moon calendars and moon diaries that are an invaluable resource if you are busy like me and need a faster way of tracking the moon rather than doing it yourself!
