Womb Wisdom
In ancient culture, the womb was associated with the cosmic voice or ‘word of the womb’ and was viewed as the Vehicle of Light filled with the mystical Waters of Creation. All original mythologies lay forth the idea that we live in a womb cosmology of creation, pregnant with infinite possibilities which simply acquire conception (connection/ entanglement/ witnessing) in order to manifest, grow and birth. Modern science even shows that black holes are able to birth new and infinite galaxies, yet the entire metaverse remains connected via the Great Cosmic Womb. We, as microcosmic womb-mans, are linked and entangled with this great cosmic womb, and are mini-universes in our own right with infinite primordial creative intelligences streaming though us at all times. When we reconnect with ourselves, our inner womb wisdom and its cycles, we reconnect with all of creation and remember our own creative power. By honouring the cycles of the Universe, the Earth and ourselves, we tap into the feminine mysteries and open the magical feminine dimension that lives in and around us. This is the true wisdom concealed within mythology and tales as old as time. Notably, the ideology of womb magic is birthed from the ancient tradition of womb cleansing.
Classically, a virgin was in fact a sovereign woman; a lady who had a pure womb. This was achieved through priestess practices, such as ritual and gathering in sister circles. Menstrual cycle awareness and being knowledgeable about the power of the womb was a key aspect of such ways of life. For example, Athena, as a virgin goddess, was considered a clean womb, meaning she had cleansed her ancestral and past life wounds that had been inherited. This is why she was born motherless and favoured men, as a metaphor for how she had cleansed her maternal line and, as a sovereign being who held all of that feminine magic, could put this to use and birth sacred union with the divine masculine. This can also be likened to Mother Mary of Yeshua/ Jesus who was also considered a virgin.
In modern society, the opposite to a virgin is demoralised as a whore. The word whore is used as a derogative term nowadays, yet this is just another way that our collective psyche has been hijacked using word magic. Instead, women who had purified the energy of their wombs were referred to as ‘Scarlet Women’, ‘Sacred Women’, Hor’s (whores) and, in Greek, Hierodulai, a word later transformed into ‘harlot’. Nowadays, these terms are used to disgust and disguise a woman’s sexual nature. We also see this is mirrored by the biblical figure Mary Magdalene, who is incorrectly referred to as a ‘prostitute’ in need of saving by a man, when, in fact, mountain evidence shows that she was a high priestess of the feminine mysteries.
The withdrawal of knowledge of the genuine magic of the womb was part of a patriarchal plan to not only force women to forget their magical potential, but to also strip men of their feminine energies, associated with intuition, knowing, nurturing and connection, with the purpose of creating a society of worker bees rather than the sacred, spiritual light beings we truly are. In fact, Mary Magdalene of Ancient Egyptian and Christian spiritual rites, whose occult name has been traced back to mean ‘keeper of the feminine wisdom’, ‘great weaver’ and ‘magical doorway’ was the blessed wife of Yeshua and was a colossal part of his ascension. Interestingly, in Tantric traditions, male initiates of the goddess/ womb mysteries were known as Lords of the Fish (due to these traditions having a focus on visuals and the yoni appearing like the outline of a fish, as well as the obvious ties to Pisces), which holds great resemblance to Jesus Christ who, within the Bible, was referred to as a Fisher of Men.
For priestesses, once they have returned to purity/innocence/ virginity, they are said to be given the power to begin to weave with the four elements and directions of the womb; enchanting the light body and many other webs and threads within the great grid of life and creation. Becoming a priestess of the womb mysteries centred a woman’s energy within the cosmic womb of creation, enabling higher frequencies of light to transmute through to and from the Earth. For the Greeks, goddess Athena was the personification of such wisdom and magic. She presented the ability to ground both masculine and feminine qualities together and weave her desires from this.
Even stars choose their place in the universe via a binary mechanism. These energies then work together to generate particular frequencies based on the metaverses/ Source’s own play. Each and every one of us contributes to this Matrix grid. Although dark entities have penetrated this grid and contaminated it with their own negative codes and frequencies as part of their own agenda, it is not too late. When we see this darkness, witness it and transmute it, we bring in more light. Rather than sacrifice, we offer. Rather than work for, we channel for. By changing our way of thinking and honouring our divine bodies, we really can save the world.
For me, a crucial part of this womb awakening was bringing my awareness to my menstrual cycle.
As I researched mythology as part of my study for my book The Art of Preservation, it became clear to me very early that these tales were intrinsically related to the feminine mystery rites, too. Menstrual awareness was simply another powerful cycle of creation that supports our embodiment of the light body and awakening to the divine. The most notable of these mythologies included the Triple Goddess Triad.
Connecting with the Triple Goddess Triad of the Ancient Greek Feminine Mysteries can be a profound tool for women who are searching for a way of describing and developing a relationship with their cycle. Although many women synchronise with the idea of their menstrual cycle reflecting the 4 seasons of the Earth or the 4 phases of the Moon, for me personally, I felt like my cycle more easily linked with a pattern of 3. Consequently, I began monitoring my cycle accordingly and discovered great empowerment when calibrating this with the Three Goddesses.
These goddess energies include those of Persephone, Aphrodite and Athena.
You can consciously develop a relationship to these goddess frequencies through meditation, visualisation and connection via the creation of alters, etc.
If, however, you feel called to seek support in the early stages of this embodiment, I have created a self-paced course which you may follow. I designed this as self-paced as every cycle is so unique; starting at different days and being anywhere from maybe 21-days long to more than 50 days. Therefore, the videos, meditations and documents can be accessed in real-time when you reach each phase of your cycle. Click the ‘Learn More’ tab below for more details about this course :)
PS. If you do not have a monthly cycle within your microcosmic body then you will syncronise with the macrocosmic cycle of the moon, cycling in and out with her energies. There is a wealth of information about this in the collective knowledge base already, such as the book Wild Power.
